The FAA controls and restricts the use of drone flights in many areas. As a commercial operator, I can request clearance to operate in controlled airspaces with some exceptions. Restricted airspace in the immediate proximity to airports, jails, and hospitals are examples. If your property is within five miles of an airport, please allow me at least three days’ notice to request the appropriate authorization.
